It's a Character Choice.

Cleaned out my purse and rediscovered some notebooks. The sketchbook I'd purchased with the intent of creating a full-blown "Criminal Line-up" of the crew was a nice surprise. (Sketchbooks are so hard to find... It's always just lined notebooks!) Served as a nice reminder of some of the drawings and dialog I'd been planning.

Long story short, most of my free time and a good chunk of what shouldn't be free time is being spent on character sketches and bios and whatnot.

I don't think I've really posted much of my Imaginary-Children-That-Aren't-Really-My-Children-But-More-Like-My-Puppets, but I'll certainly be throwing some of that stuff up here soon.

I'm a fan of manga, sci-fi/fantasy books, the show LOST, and music from the 70s. I'm attracted to anything big, colorful, or out of proportion.

I draw and crochet, but I think the amigurumi usually turn out more attractive. I've been crocheting since January 2009, and drawing since I was permitted to handle a Crayola.

I'm not on Facebook or MySpace, but was recently peer-pressured into joining Twitter. I don't "tweet" much, but my ID is pixie_stick, if you're interested.

Computers kind of freak me out, so I don't do anything to my art involving digital coloring or shading. Markers and pencils take a bit longer and are prone to screw-ups, but... anything to resist technological advancement! I've seen "Space Odessey"! :)
